Tab Pro is a local-first Chrome extension operated by HighItems. This policy explains what data the product accesses, where it is stored, and how support communication is handled.
What Tab Pro accesses
Tab Pro uses Chrome extension APIs to read tab metadata such as page title, URL, favicon, pinned state, audible state, duplicate state, stale state, and window context. This access is required for tab search, quick switching, duplicate cleanup, stale cleanup, and local session snapshots.
What Tab Pro stores
Product settings, recent closed tab references, and session snapshots are stored locally in the user's Chrome profile through chrome.storage.local. Tab Pro does not require an account to use the core product.
What Tab Pro does not do
- Does not send tab content or tab metadata to a remote analytics service.
- Does not require a cloud workspace or user account to use core tab features.
- Does not sell browsing data.
- Does not include advertising or third-party trackers in the website.
Payments and support
If a customer purchases a license, payment processors such as PayPal or Lemon Squeezy may collect payment and billing information under their own policies. Support requests may include the customer's email address, payment reference, and product issue details.
When checkout is enabled, payment data is transmitted to the processor over HTTPS/TLS. Tab Pro does not directly store full card details on its own servers.
